I am a very loyal Lowe's customer and wish I had known about this previously. I went in and priced new vinyl windows for my entire house, not a huge order, but substantial. I also had a quote for the same brand from Lowe's. When they gave me their quote I asked if that brand was on sale, and I was told no, it is the everyday price. I then offered that their prices were lower than the Lowe's price, she wasn't surprised. Then we got to talking about the order and she gathered that I'd be price shopping, so she offered to submit it to the bid room. I had an answer back within 30 minutes and I saved $1,100 on my windows! Yes, it is a 24 hour deal, I don't know how much wiggle room there is in that, however I wish I had known that catch ahead of time as they don't tell you that up front. This means I could have just used one of those 10% coupons they give you and accomplished just about the same discount. Only I wouldn't have had to spend hours putting an order together with sku #'s.
